On November 24, 2023, an International Conference titled “Religion and Social Processes in Southeast Europe” was held at the Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security in Belgrade. The event was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad, the Institute for Geopolitical Studies of Aurel Vlaicu University in Arad (Romania), and the European Research Institute for Strategic Studies in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
The conference was structured around three thematic panels: (1) religion, society, and tolerance, (2) religion and politics, and (3) the legal status of religion in Southeast Europe. Distinguished experts from the region, representing various disciplinary profiles, participated in the conference and presented their insights on the current situation and processes in Southeast Europe from the perspective of religious issues and social dynamics.
The conference concluded with the adoption of resolutions that will be published in the Proceedings of the conference.
